IS YOUR COFFEE ORGANIC?

Most of our products are certified USDA Organic, and as such, almost all of them use the same base organic coffee sources from small farms in Peru. There are a few exceptions to this rule: When available, our Pumpkin Spice cold brew is made with the same USDA Organic certified beans as our other products, however one of the pumpkin flavors used contains "natural and artificial" flavors and therefore the product cannot be certified organic. Our Decaf cold brew is made using conventional (non-organic) beans. With decaf, our priority is sourcing high-quality specialty-grade coffee that has been decaffeinated using only water (e.g. no chemicals). This is the same standard required for organic coffee, however not all of the decaf we are able to source carries the USDA Organic certification. Therefore, our Decaf is not certified organic.

WHERE DO YOU SOURCE YOUR COFFEE?

We support sustainable agriculture and the farmers that practice it. Broadly speaking...we source our coffee in the Western Hemisphere. More specifically, from a handful of farms and co-operatives scattered throughout the wonderful-coffee-producing countries of Colombia, Mexico, Nicaragua and Peru.

DO I NEED TO KEEP THE COLD BREW COLD BEFORE I OPEN IT?

Nope, you can store Wandering Bear cold brew at room temperature until you open it. We’ve worked out a flash pasteurization and completely sterile process for our cold brew that allows for safe storage at room temperature before opening without affecting its taste. Once you've opened a box, pop it in the fridge to keep it fresh -- we usually enjoy it cold over ice. Technically we’re supposed to say that the coffee will stay fresh for 30 days once you open the box… but we know it to both stay fresh longer than that and to get consumed faster than that.

HOW LONG DOES WANDERING BEAR COLD BREW LAST?

This is a very relative question. But since we wrote it, we know what we meant. From a freshness perspective, each box will stay fresh until the printed “enjoy by” date on the back of the box. Once the tap is open, your cold brew will stay fresh for 30 days, or until you finish it all.

DO I NEED TO DILUTE WANDERING BEAR COLD BREW WITH MILK OR WATER?

Great question! Our coffee is extra strong but ready-to-drink out of the box, so you don't have to mess around with measuring out coffee and water before you've even had your morning brew. That said, it's your coffee, and it's endlessly customizable: drink it straight black, with milk and sugar, in a smoothie, in a cocktail, or add it to your favorite cold brew recipe.

DO I NEED TO KEEP MY BOX OF WANDERING BEAR COLD?

Keep your brew cold once you open it! We’ve worked out a gentle pasteurization process for our cold brew that allows for safe storage at room temperature before opening without affecting its taste. Once you've opened a box, pop it in the fridge to keep it fresh -- we usually enjoy it cold over ice. That said, you can absolutely heat up a mug of Wandering Bear if you're in the mood for a hot cup of coffee.

    Best Cold Brew Decaf Coffee!

    It's hard to find decaf cold brew, and finding a good one is even harder. This cold brew decaf is so rich and delicious, not sour or bitter like some cold brews. I love it!

    So smooth

    I am obsessed with this cold brew! First you don’t need to store a ton of cartons in your fridge. The coffee can be stored at room temp until opened! Great for traveling or sharing with friends. Second, this is the smoothest organic coffee coffee I’ve ever had! It goes well with all the milks I’ve tried. Can’t say enough about it. Try it! You won’t regret it.

    Defective Cartons

    Received multiple orders of subscription 6 packs w defective cartons that leaked and made messes. Had to pour out full cartons wasting $$ they refunded me for 2 cartons from the first ordered but the next order was even worse. Twice I have went to shake a brand new, sealed carton and they’re already leaking and messy so I sent videos, photos etc. unfortunately no word back from Wandering Bear :(

    Wandering Bear has made coffee great again!

    I can literally taste the difference - what the heck was I drinking before? I know it sounds made up, but this coffee actually makes me feel good. Smooth, rich, and energizing in the best way possible. Wandering Bear has completely ruined other coffees for me. I’ll never be able to go back.
