Do I need to refrigerate before opening?

Nope, you can store Wandering Bear cold brew at room temperature until you open it. We use a flash pasteurization and sterilization process for our cold brew that allows for safe storage at room temperature before opening without affecting its taste. Once opened, the product must be refrigerated.

How long does the concentrate last?

This is a very relative question. But since we wrote it, we know what we meant. From a freshness perspective, each carton will stay fresh until the printed “best by” date on the top of the carton. Once opened, your concentrate will stay fresh for 7 days. 

What’s the best ratio to make one cup of cold brew?

The ratio, regardless of how much or how little you want to make, is always 3 parts water to 1 part concentrate. This will make cold brew at the same strength as our ready-to-drink options. So, to make an 8oz cup -- mix 6oz of water with 2oz of concentrate and stir. To make the entire carton -- mix 96oz water with the full carton (32oz) for a gallon of cold brew.

How much caffeine is in one serving?

150mg caffeine per serving.

Is the concentrate certified organic?

Yes! We use the same organic Peruvian coffee as in our ready-to-drink cold brews.

How long does it take to receive an order?

Orders are typically delivered to your door in 3-7 business days from the date of purchase. This includes 1-3 business days for processing time and then another 2-4 days for delivery. There can be outliers to this timeframe, so if you have any questions on your order, reach out to our customer service team and we will make it right. Please note, our warehouse does not ship on weekends or holidays, so all orders placed Friday-Sunday will begin processing the following Monday.
