DO YOU MAKE 1 CUP AT A TIME OR A WHOLE GALLON?
Totally up to you and whatever makes the most sense for your cold brew intake :) Either way, it’s as easy as 3 to 1.
WHAT'S THE BEST RATIO TO MAKE ONE CUP OF COLD BREW?
The ratio, regardless of how much or how little you want to make, is always 3 parts water to 1 part concentrate. This will make cold brew at the same strength as our ready-to-drink options. So, to make an 8oz cup -- mix 6oz of water with 2oz of concentrate and stir. To make the entire carton -- mix 96oz water with the full carton (32oz) for a gallon of cold brew. As with our ready-to-drink cold brew, our coffee is highly caffeinated and we recommend a 6oz serving.
DO I NEED TO KEEP THE COLD BREW COLD BEFORE I OPEN IT?
Yes! Unopened, the cold brew will stay fresh until the date on the carton. Once opened, please refrigerate for best quality.
HOW LONG DOES THE CONCENTRATE LAST ONCE OPENED?
This is a very relative question. But since we wrote it, we know what we meant. From a freshness perspective, each carton will stay fresh until the printed “enjoy by” date on the carton. Once opened, your cold brew will stay fresh for 30 days, or until you finish it all.
HOW DOES THIS DIFFER FROM YOUR OTHER COLD BREW?
Our cold brew is big in body, smooth in finish, and will taste like (amazing) coffee with subtle notes of cocoa/chocolate. We make our concentrate using the same organic, 100% Arabica beans from Peru and an identical cold brewing process, so once mixed the concentrate should taste the same as our ready-to-drink coffees.
WILL YOU OFFER CONCENTRATE IN ANY FLAVORS?
Not right now, but the 3 to 1 concentrate is perfect for mixing with flavored creamers or syrups to create whatever you wish.
HOW MUCH CONCENTRATE SHOULD I USE TO MAKE A LATTE?
1.5oz of Wandering Bear 3 to 1 Concentrate + 5oz milk (2% or Oat for best results).
WHAT MILK DO YOU RECOMEND TO USE WITH CONCENTRATE?
Whatever your favorite milk is!
